As a king can't reign without a nation, and a teacher can't teach without students, a writer can only inspire with loyal readers.
Today is one full year and two days since penofmyheart was created. Penofmyheart has served to be my little kingdom. I have immensely enjoyed updating my website, designing the pages, reading the comments, knowing that there are people who will read my writings and hopefully get inspired by my work.
So thank you. Thank you for reading, thank you for commenting, thank you for giving me a reason to share my writing.
I hope that this be only the beginning. The beginning of something beautiful.
I am super proud and excited to share my newest, and longest yet (!) piece of writing, titled taboo!
It was during winter break last week when I suddenly got this inspiration to write about things that just aren't spoken about and should be. I feel like spreading awareness is very important and can save so many from harm.
Disregarding the fact that since I am a teenager, I think I know everything, but really don't (shhhh!), I think that children who are sheltered end up finding out about the dark world out there on their own, and in the wrong ways. Being told what to look out for and stay away from their parents and/ or professionals can literally save lives.
So go ahead and read it!
Oh, and grab a snack and put your feet up, because you'll be reading for a while ;)
In joy! (enjoy)
Long time no speak!
And long time no write :)
Well, I write all the time, but I don't always publish it right away.
But I'm glad I did it now :)
Nice to see ya again!
And Happy Chanuka 5777!!
Hey, y'all! Hope your summer is as great as mine!
I am super excited to announce that I have started a new page on penofmyheart titled Short Stories. These are short snippets of my imagination, captured in pen and paper in the form of a short story, mostly dialogue. My goal iy"H is to soon come up with a plot for a longer short story, hopefully three pages. So stay tuned!
Today marks a full week of penofmyheart! In other words it's my sites first week anniversary! (Thank you, IY"H by you ;))
Thank ya'll for the positive feedback. Iv'e really enjoyed writing up this site, and look forward to writing on it every week. Keep reading and commenting!
Hi, I'm Fraida Blau from Crown Heights of Brooklyn, and I have just recently completed the tenth grade of Beis Chaya Mushka HS. I love writing and composing music more than anything in the world, but even more than that, it gives me pleasure when people get inspired by my work. I know it's selfish, but... :) I use writing not just as a hobby but as a tool for my life, and I love to share my gift with others.
